Mazzoli TortoniTM - An Italian frozen custard with toasted coconut and almond flavor, & a touch of bisque, topped with a cookie dust.

Now a popular and elegant dessert, it originated in ancient Rome, where it was served exclusively to emperors and nobles. Tortoni did not become widely available in Europe until well into the 16th century, and the dessert was brought to this country by European chefs.

Fred Mazzoli was Milton S. Hershey's personal Dairy Chef at Hotel Hershey & Hershey Creamery for many Years.

Mr. & Mrs. Mazzoli opened their own ice cream company in 1956, and continued to manufacture tortoni according to the original recipe. Wrapped in individual paper cups, mounded and crested with almond macaroon dust, Mazzoli TortoniTM remains a treat fit for the emperors.

Spumoni - An old time frozen Italian dessert usually made as 3 layers, a chocolate layer sandwiched between old world cherry and spumoni. Spunoni has candied fruit, 4 kinds of nuts and a touch of rum & brandy.


All Natural Gelato - (Made w/ fresh milk, eggs) approx. 35% less fat than our traditional ice cream, and much less air for a more intense taste.  Many flavors available ( see the Flavors Link).  Made the way it is made in Italy.  Available in pints and quarts.


Italian Ice - A non-dairy product, made with natural flavors, water and sugar. (see the Flavors Link)
 


Sorbet - Made with real fruit purees, water, sugar.  "Lactose Free"  Served in many PA restaurants as a in between course refreshment to cleanse the pallet.  Excellent with your meal as a all natural dessert!
